Our Story
Shake-A-Salad was born out of a deep love for community, and a need for fresh, healthy lunch and dinner choices that were easily accessible. We visited The Grove in Wesley Chapel, FL and fell in love with the sense of culture and community that the Grove was creating with the Krates. We wanted to create a place where individuals and families could have the option to pick up healthy food that was not only delicious and quick, but also homemade. That's what we're doing with Shake-A-Salad. It's our humble effort to bring delicious lunch and dinner options to the Wesley Chapel area. We can't wait to see you!

Hi, my name is Leighann! In October of 2018, my husband Ryan and I made the decision to pick up and leave NY. Ryan was disabled with respiratory disease from the rescue, recovery, and cleanup of the tragedy of 9-11, and NY life was just not for us anymore. Our then 6-year-old son was also entering 1st grade and we decided that we needed an overall better quality of life. Hearing about Wesley Chapel,FL and the schools, shopping, great communities to live in, and the wonderful people, we decided this is the place we wanted to call home!
After living here for 2 years and watching the growth and development in Wesley Chapel, I knew it was time to start my business. My goal was to serve the beautiful residents of Wesley Chapel and the surrounding areas. But getting a business up and running is not for the faint of heart!
In 2020, along with the help of family and our community, we set out to open a restaurant. With love, quality food, and our AMAZING homemade salad dressings, we are proud to present Shake-A-Salad.
